Flagler Volunteer Services is planning to participate in Flagler Beach's Centennial Celebrations by hosting a Bed Race event on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Veteran's Park. 

THIS IS A GREAT TEAM-BUILDING OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES, YOUTH GROUPS, CLUBS OR JUST A GROUP OF FRIENDS TO PARTICIPATE IN!  

Each team will 

• Make a bed to race (must have 4 wheels and ability for 1 person to ride in the bed and 4 people to push) - decorate it to your theme.
• Have 5 members that run in the race but you can bring other team members to the event to be part of the line up and to cheer you on during the race!
• Compete in Pit Stop Activities (Details Coming Soon!)
• Win awards - Speed Awards - 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place for best times, Sleeping In for last place.  Decade Decor Awards for - Most Beautiful, Most Unique, What Were You Thinking?, Funniest and People's Choice
